- Name of final piece: "Bleeding Heart"
- Dimensions: A2 Size, Landscape. Please Print on GLOSS Paper
- Media: Combination of Photoshop Illustration and Photography
- Description: I decided to focus my design on the heart and the importance of getting tested. I kept the background simple in order to keep the attention on the heart and text. I used a photo which I took of a plastic model of a heart which I coloured over and shaded using Photoshop. I chose to make the heart a "Bleeding Heart" to show that there is something abnormal about the heart, emphasising the need to be tested.

- Dimesnions: A3 landscape
- Media: Graphical design
- Description: I wanted to create something very dynamic which would grab attention and raise awareness of the heart condition. I focused on the heart as the central image and related all things connected with it e.g. portraying the heart as a natural form and as a machine.

- Name of final piece: Silent Killer
- Dimesnions: Width: 30cm, Height: 42cm
- Media: Graphic Design
- Description: The slogan "Silent Killer" instantly influenced me to base my piece on a modern horror theme. My work went through many different versions, as I continuously changed the colours and the fonts used. Eventually I found a layout that worked well as an image, and as a piece that conveyed a message that links to the undetected heart condition.

- Name of final piece: Love The Life You Live, Live The Life You Love
- Dimensions: 30" x 50"
- Media: Screen-print on film and inkjet print on paper
- Description: There is a duality to the work, two pieces one male and one female, two layers in each, inside and outside. This represents the physical and psychological issues of a potentially fatal condition. The background images of each piece originate in the silhouettes of two young people taking the main tests for the condition, an ECG and an Echo. The swirling patterns found in both bodies are based on simulations of Supernovae the luminous explosions that occur at the end of a star's life. The drawings in the foreground are initiated in the very wires that play a part in the cardiac examinations. They form shapes that relate to the long lives ahead for these young people, mountains to climb and dreams to fulfil.
